ACTION -- Advisory Council To Improve Our Neighborhood

Mission: ACTION’s mission is to provide Kendrick-Juliaetta and the Seven Ridges youth and families with positive developmental opportunities.

History: ACTION is a Kendrick-Juliaetta and the 7 Ridges community task force organized in December 2005 as a part of the Latah County Youth Advocacy Council (LCYAC) organization.  Our March 2006 community forum expressed that there is a need to increase positive family and youth activities in our area.  ACTION’s diverse membership allows us to accomplish this by forming community partnerships.  Funding is acquired by LCYAC contributions and grants.

Meeting Details:  4:00 p.m. in the Kendrick High School’s Cafeteria or Library the 3rd Monday of the month.

Membership Requirements:  All high school youth and adults with a focus to increase positive family and youth activities in Kendrick and Juliaetta and the 7 Ridges area are welcome to join.

Election of Officers: Annually in September.

Major Accomplishments:

v      Grants were written and received to support the Juliaetta After School Program.

v      Family Activities were provided at Juliaetta’s and Kendrick’s annual festivals.

v      Anti-substance abuse and motivational speakers provided student and community programs.

v      A partnership with the K-JCDA made this Organizational Contact listing a reality.

Needs:  Increase in membership and organizations co-sponsoring events.

Publications:  LCYAC publishes a quarterly newsletter distributed via e-mail and hard copy throughout Latah County.  See LCYAC for publication details.

Alcoholics Anonymous

Meeting Details:  Tuesday and Friday 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Big Bear Ridge Community Hall

Mission:  Big Bear Ridge Community Hall’s mission is to provide a building for Big Bear Ridge members to use as needed.

History:  Pioneers of Big Bear Ridge donated the land and Big Bear Ridge Community Hall was built about 1945.  Monthly hall functions at one time included club meetings, potlucks, baby or wedding showers and quilting parties.  The interior of the hall remains rustic as it was built.

Membership Requirements:  A resident of Big Bear Ridge is the only requirement.  Members’ ages range from 8 years to 80 years old.

Election of Officers:  Annually in September.

Major Accomplishments:

v      Having a building where neighbors can meet and socialize.

v      An annual Christmas Dinner Social is provided.

v      Building space is available for funeral dinners.

Future Goals:  Maintain members, upkeep of the building, provide space for community activities.

Boy Scouts of America

Mission:  The Boy Scouts of America mission is to help boys “do their best” in all aspects of life.

History:  Baden-Powell founded the Boy Scouts organization on twelve principles.  They are character development, spiritual growth, friendly service, fun and adventure, respectful relationship, personal achievement, good citizenship, sportsmanship and fitness, family understanding and preparation for life.

Meeting Details:  Rotates due to the Cub Masters schedule.

Membership Requirements:  Complete an application and pay the registration fee.  Members range from 1st grade through 4th grade.

Accomplishments: 

v      Popcorn Sales.

v      Rain Gutter Regatta.

v      Blue and Gold Banquet.

Future Goals:  To continue scouting and family involvement.

Circle of Plants

History:  Circle of Plants was started in the fall of 2005 following a Master Gardener Class where we were introduced to the 4-H coordinator and & Jr. Master Gardener curriculum.  Chad Henson and Shelley Heimgartner held classes once a week with 8 -10 students attending.  We had many successes the first year and completed ¾ of the manual.

Meeting Details:  Meetings have not recently occurred because of Chad’s work demands.

Membership Requirements:  Any interested 4th – 6th grade student.

Election of Officers:  Annually in September.

Accomplishments:

v      We had a great learning experience with our community garden.

v      The salsa we made and sold at the Juliaetta Elementary School was very popular.

Goals:  Find a couple dedicated volunteers to organize and teach the classes and help with a community garden.

Needs:  Adults that are dedicated, communicate well, and enjoy 4 – 6th grade students to continue this opportunity.  The youth love to learn about gardening and we had a lot of fun working in the garden together.

City of Kendrick

Meeting Details:  Meet at the Kendrick City Hall the 2nd and 4th Monday at 7:00 P.M.  For an item to be included on the agenda, contact the City Hall one week prior to the meeting.

Come 4 Fun After School Mentoring Program

Mission:  The Come 4 Fun After School Program’s mission is to proclaim God’s love in Jesus Christ and serve our community and world.  Additionally this program is to provide help to at risk children in homework and academic skills.

History:  The Come 4 Fun after school mentoring program began in 2002 with a board consisting of Dave Jones as treasurer, Patti Silflow as Secretary and Don Dennler as the President.  Hermie Meyer organized this program as an outreach for the local churches to provide homework and academic skill’s help to at risk elementary school students.  Teachers from grades 1 – 6 recommended participants.  The program is offered every Thursday from 3:00 P.M. – 5:30 P.M.  High School students volunteered to be mentors to help the children with their homework.  For the three years, Jan Patterson and Lori Glenn were the head teachers for the program.

            In 2004, upon their resignation Lauralee Kunder volunteered to be the coordinator with Dave Jones as supporter.  Jean Clemenhagen took over the duty of organizing snacks from Pat Holt.  The youth met from 3 P.M. – 5 P.M.  For the past two years, Polly Taylor-Dennler has provided gardening and community service opportunities for the participating youth.

Publications: Weekly Bulletins and a monthly newsletter are distributed with no fee charged to include information of public interest.  Submit material for bulletin between Wednesday and Friday and for the Newsletter prior to the 25th of month, to the Pastor at the church office.

Needs:  Adult and high school youth to volunteer, mentor, and provide enrichment programs.

Community Park Improvement Committee

Mission:  The Community Park Improvement Committee’s mission is to assist the Juliaetta-Kendrick cities and rural area in providing safe parks and play equipment for our community.

Meeting Details:  Meet as needed.

Membership requirements: Anyone who supports our mission is welcome.

Election of Officers:  Annually in October.

Friends of the Juliaetta Community Library

Mission:  The Friends of the Juliaetta Community Library’s mission is to build a partnership between the library and the community and to advocate for quality library service for all of the people served by the Juliaetta Community Library.

History:  The Friends organization formally organized in 2003 to rejuvenate the library.

Meeting Details:  The Friends meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 11:30 A.M. at the Juliaetta Community Library.

Membership requirements:  Each member supports our mission.  Members range from 30 years to 75 years old.

Election of Officers:  Annually in March.

Accomplishments:

v      2004 - 2006 approximately $10,000 was raised to provide an interior and exterior building update.

v      Making the space safe, energy efficient and more esthetically comfortable has increased the library’s use.

v      Multiple community partnerships increase what our library provides to our community.

Goals:  To enhance our community’s knowledge of what our library and the Latah County Library District provide.  Through local partnerships increase the number of adults and children’s programs, and fund our Summer Reading Program.

Needs:  Volunteer help with the following:   organizing & participating in fundraisers and building needs, the Summer Reading Program, book shelving, communicating what our library provides and establishing partnerships with other local organizations to keep our local youth appropriately involved.

Girl Scouts of America

Mission:  The Girl Scouts of America’s mission is to provide a place for girls to grow strong.  We build courage, confidence, and character by having fun and working on projects with friends.

History:  Juliette Gordon Low founded the Girl Scouts in 1912.  She wanted an organization for girls to learn.  They learned about doing good deeds.  Juliette Gordon-Low was a leader for the first Girl Scout troop.

Meeting Details:  Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. after whole school days at the school (205 1st Ave) in Juliaetta.

Membership requirements:  An application is necessary and there is a $10.00 registration fee.  There are scholarships available to cover the fee if that is a need.  The ages of members are kindergarten age through high school.

Accomplishments:

v      Annual Cookie Sales:  Pre-orders are due in February and booth sales are in April.

v      Provided a Flag Ceremony at the 2007 J-K Jr. Miss Program and other programs as requested

v      Participated in the 2006 Locust Blossom Festival Parade.

Goals:  To help the girl branch out and assist in community events.

Needs:  Adults volunteers to help with meetings and activities are needed.

Golden Sunset Services

Mission:  Golden Sunset Service’s mission is to provide programs and a place to get together with friends.

History:  In the early 1970’s the group bought the building that was a welding shop and made it into a meeting place.

Hill and Valley Garden Club

Mission:  Hill and Valley Garden Club’s mission is to further the interest in gardening.

History:  We organized in 1964 and currently have 40 members.  We maintain our own clubrooms, support local community projects and meet Idaho and National objectives.

Meeting date/time/location:  During the months of September through May we meet the 4th Wednesday at 1:30 P.M.

Membership requirements:  To have an interest in gardening.  Member’s ages range up to 95 years old.

Election of Officers:  Annually in April.

JCIA -- Juliaetta Community Improvement Association

Mission:  The Juliaetta Community Improvement Association’s mission is to establish a community center for all of the community to use.

Meeting Date:  First Saturday of the month at Juliaetta's OLD fire hall (located next to the Juliaetta City Hall entrance).

History:  The organization started in 2000 by a group to help bring the town together.

Membership Requirements:  To live in Juliaetta area with a phone prefix of 276—really most anyone interested.  The ages of the members are 40 to 75 years old.

Election of Officers:  Annually in January.

Accomplishments:

v      Sponsor the annual Classic Car Show & Blackberry Festival on the second Saturday in September.

Goals:  Community Center, Improvement Projects.

Juliaetta Elementary School

Needs:  Classroom volunteers.

Publications:  There is a school newsletter to which the principal and each teacher contribute information.  If you are interested in being included on the e-mail list to receive this publication, contact the principal.

Juliaetta Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization

Meeting Details:  2nd Tuesday of each month in the Juliaetta Elementary School cafeteria.

Membership Requirements:  Parents, guardians, grandparents, and siblings of children attending Juliaetta Elementary School and its faculty.  The age ranges of members are 20 years old and older.

Election of Officers:  Annually in September.

Accomplishments:

v        Class Contest to gather Campbell’s Soup and Box Top Labels to purchase school needs.

v        Host last day of school lunch and activities.

v        Help with annual book fair.

v        Helped fund new playground school equipment in 2005.

Goals:  There are efforts to increase the safety for youth crossing Highway 3 to and from school, to raise funds to purchase a letter machine for the faculty, enhance the school’s entrance sign and provide benches and picnic tables in a section of the playground.

Needs:  Input on what needs this school has as well as be informed on how the school can partner with the community.

Juliaetta Television Association

History:  This is a nonprofit reflecting TV channels 2, 4, 6, 3 12, and Fox 28 into the town of Juliaetta Idaho from a site on the hill above town.  There stations are received on channels 7, 9, 11, 41, 43 and 48.

Membership Requirements:  A $3.00 a month donation is accepted from viewers.

Juliaetta Volunteer Fire Department 

Meeting Details:  1st and 3rd Wednesdays are drill and the last Wednesday is a business meeting at the First Bank of Pizza all at 7:00 P.M.

Membership:  Participants are 18 years and older.

Election of Officers:  Annually in December.

Accomplishments:

v        A new Juliaetta Fire Station was built.

v        A newer Fire Engine was acquired.

v        Established mutual aid with Kendrick Fire Department.

Needs:  More volunteers.

J-K Ambulance

Needs:  We are looking for volunteers to take a course to become an EMT and volunteer Ambulance drivers.

J-K Good Samaritan Food Bank

Hours of Operation:  Friday 1 P.M. – 3 P.M.  Contact the listed person for details on donating food.

Needs:  The Food Bank operates using volunteers.  Volunteers are needed as well as food donations.

J-K Recreation District

History:  The J-K Recreation District was formed in 1978 by a determining vote of the residents within the proposed taxing district.  Funds were specially needed then to renovate the Kendrick War Memorial Swimming Pool and to design and construct the Juliaetta Centennial Park.  The Board works closely with both the City of Kendrick and the City of Juliaetta and other local groups and associations to meet recreational needs in the district.

Accomplishments:

v        Involvement with the paved Ed Corkill Memorial Trail walking and bike path.

v        Providing requested funds to community groups and our schools for recreational needs.

v        Establish and maintain a significant facility reserve fund, as permitted by statute, to achieve large community recreational projects.

J.K. Senior Meals

Mission:  To provide a time for interaction and meals to seniors and others of every age at the Kendrick Senior Center Building (104 S. 6th Street).  Meals are delivered to qualified homebound individuals for those who quality with the Area Agency on Aging.  We are also dedicated to the betterment of our community by offering entertainment, lectures and health services.

Meeting Details:  A noon meal is served every Wednesday and Friday.

Membership Requirement:  No membership requirements.  The ages of people who enjoy the meals are currently 55 to 90 years old.

Needs:  We have an ongoing need to do fund raising.  That provides us a chance to interact with the communities and organizations in our area.

J-K Watercolorists

Mission:  The J-K Watercolorists are an informal group of amateur artists who encourage each other as they explore a variety of watercolor painting techniques.

 History:  In November 2003, the Kendrick-Juliaetta Arts Committee brought watercolor artist, Helen Grainger Wilson to Juliaetta to provide a series of watercolor instructional classes.  Because some of the class participants wanted to continue meeting this informal group was formed.

Meeting Details:  First Saturday each month from Noon to 3 P.M. in the Johnson Manor Apartments Commons area located in Juliaetta.

Membership Requirements:  Participants must have their own supplies and have an interest in painting.  Participants are 35 – 75 years old.

 Accomplishments: 

v        Provide an Art Show and Sale at Kendrick’s and Juliaetta’s annual festivals.

v        Provide a Christmas Art Show at Kendrick’s Wells Fargo Bank.

v        Participate in individuals showings in Moscow.

 Goals: We inspire each other and enjoy the company of fellow artists.

Kendrick Booster Club

Mission:  The Kendrick High School Booster Club helps the kids and the school.  As a fundraiser for the high school groups and classes, we pay them to work the concession stand.

Meeting Details:  We meet the first Sunday of each month at 5 p.m. in the Kendrick High School cafeteria.

 

Member Requirements:  We welcome anyone who would like to have input and become a Booster.

 

Accomplishments:

v        We fund youth activities such as the 7th through 12th grades, BPA, Knowledge Bowl, Advanced Biology, FFA, Student Body, art drama, music, and all sports as needed.

v        Provide sports banquets to honor the athletes and cheerleaders of Kendrick High School.

v        Through 50/50 ticket sales at the games, money is raised for scholarship use.  In 2006, four $100.00 scholarships were awarded.

 

Needs:  Volunteers at the athletic events to sell tickets are needed.

Kendrick Campers Karaven

Mission:  Kendrick Campers Karaven’s mission is to provide a good clean camping experience and wholesome fellowship without alcohol.

History:  We organized in May 1966 with 8 couples with 3 charter members still living.

Meeting Details:  4th Monday of each month at 6:00 P.M. at the Kendrick Senior Center.

Camping Details:  We usually camp twice a month April through September within a 75-mile radius of Kendrick-Juliaetta in a variety of locations.  Folks arrive, as they are able from Wednesday until departure on Sunday morning.  The only organized activity is a Saturday noon potluck.  Visiting around the campfire is enjoyed.  Additional activities may include playing cards, 4 wheeling, reading, sewing, fruit picking, fishing, bird and animal watching.

Membership Requirements:  A desire to go camping, enjoy nature, and relax.  The age of the group is 60 years and older.  Motor homes, trailers, truck campers, and tents are welcome.  Annual dues are $5.00 per person.  The annual year is from January 1 through December 31.

Election of Officers:  Annually in November.

Accomplishments: 

v        Leave a clean campground.

v        Provide wholesome fellowship with “No Alcohol”.

 Goals:  To help others enjoy good camping.

Kendrick Grange

Mission:  The Kendrick Grange’s mission is to provide informative programs for the community such as “Meet the Sheriff” and “Meet the Candidates” who are running on election ballots.

History:  The Kendrick Grange was organized in June 1941 and is a member of the National Grange.

Accomplishments:  Offering a once a month Flea Market

Kendrick Jr. Sr. High School

Needs:  Volunteers for tutoring and mentoring.

Publication:  A Newsletter is printed monthly (except in June and July) that goes out to approximately 180 parents in the school.  No fee is charged to contribute news; however, the submitted material needs to be approved by the Principal.  The submission deadline is the last Monday of each month to the Principal.

Kendrick Lions Club

Mission:  The Kendrick Lions Club mission is L (Liberty) I (Intelligence) O (Our) N (Nations) S (Safety)

History:  This club was chartered in 1953.

Meeting Details:  2nd & 4th Wednesday at 7:30 P.M. with dinner at 7:00 P.M. at the Kendrick Fire Hall.  All residents of Kendrick-Juliaetta area are welcome.  The current age of members is 50 years and older.

Election of Officers:  Annually in April.

Accomplishments:

v        Sponsor of the annual Kendrick Locust Blossom Festival.

v        Furnish the community calendar.

v        Annually furnish youth scholarships and purchase eyeglasses for those in need.

v        Display the many different banners and flags on Main Street.

Goals:  Continue to promote and sponsor activities that help to keep our communities vibrant and spirited.

Needs:  We are always looking for new members.

Publications:  International Lions provides many sight and hearing publications to its members.

Kendrick Volunteer Fire Department

Meeting Details:  The 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 6:30 P.M. at the Kendrick Fire Hall.  Members are 16 years old and older.

Accomplishments:

v        In 2005 an additional structure fire truck was acquired.

v        In the last 7 years, the Kendrick Fire Department applied for and received $80,000 in grants and awards for equipment and supplies.

Goals:  To recruit and retain more volunteers.

Needs:  We need volunteers willing to train and participate.

Kendrick-Juliaetta Arts Commission

Mission: The Kendrick-Juliaetta Arts Commission’s mission is to strengthen the sense of community through promotion and enhancement of the arts in the Kendrick and Juliaetta area.

History:  In 1990, the Kendrick-Juliaetta Arts Committee was established as a subcommittee of the Kendrick-Juliaetta Community Development Association.  We are a volunteer, non-profit organization who feel strongly that the arts in their various forms and functions are a vital part of building a better community.  At the September 24, 2007, the membership voted to change our name to the Kendrick-Juliaetta Arts Commission.

Meeting Details:  3:30 P.M. the fourth Monday of the month at the Kendrick High School Art Room with a summer meeting break.  During our business meeting, a light meal is available and then "fun time" is provided as a social time to be individually creative.  The upcoming year’s projects are determined at the October meeting.

Membership Requirements:  High School youth and older individuals are members with no membership fee charged.

Election of Officers:  Annually in September.

Accomplishments:

v        Provide and maintain the kjarts.info web site promoting the arts and artists of our community.

v        Create numerous murals throughout both communities.

v        Provide the historical community and railroad informational signage as well as enhance the existing railroad signage along the Ed Corkill Memorial Trail between and through both cities.

v        Sponsor art shows and sales at both cities festivals and at Christmas time.

Goals:  To recruit new members of all ages and partner with organizations to provide for the artistic needs of our community.

Needs:  Members with energy and time to commit to the advancement of the arts and organizations to partner with to provide for the artistic needs of the community.

Publications:  A community web site is available at no charge for posting of art and youth related activities.  Provide pertinent material to the kjarts.info web master in a format that can be cut and pasted directly to the site.  The web master and space are the determining publishing factors.

K-J Baseball Association

Mission:  The K-J Baseball Association’s mission is to promote and support amateur baseball and softball in the communities of Kendrick, Juliaetta and the surrounding areas with the boundaries of the Kendrick Joint School District t #283.

History:  The K-J Baseball Association began in the summer of 2001 with Mike Quigley president, Doug Silflow Vice President, and Dave Jones Secretary/Treasure.  Current summer programs include Babe Ruth, Cal Ripkin, T-ball, Pitching Machine and softball teams.  In 2001, we sold 19 advertising signs to be installed on the outfield fence of the high school baseball field.  We currently have 35 signs installed, each binging in $200.00 per year.

Meeting Details:  When schedules permit, we meet the first Monday of each month at the Kendrick High School or the Juliaetta City park pavilion at 7:00 P.M.

Membership Requirements:  Interest in supporting the youth of our area in order for them to participate in baseball or softball.  Members ages ranges from 20 to 70 years old.

Election of Officers:  Annually at the February meeting.

Accomplishments:

v        Provide $9,000 per year to finance the summer baseball and softball program.

v        Provide $800 per summer for registration scholarships for needy youth.

v        Improved the high school baseball field by: installing protective yellow poly-cap around the top of the outfield fences; installing bat and helmet cubicles, coat hooks, and shelves in each dugout; painting and trimming the dugouts and concession stand; and painting the Juliaetta Park Pavilion.

v        Provided all the financing, and facilitated the contraction of the little league/softball field along with the dugouts, poly-cap, and fencing.

Goals:  Continuing to support of the existing baseball and softball programs by involving more youth and organizations in our program.  Additional needs are to construct a batting cage and storage shed for the little league/softball field, and install lights on both fields.

Needs:  Concession stand, and capable assistant coach volunteers and Money!

Latah County Sheriff's Department

Mission:  The Latah County Sheriff’s office mission is to provide our citizens and guests a safe environment in which to live and visit, and to help create a climate that enhances growth and economic development.  Using the resources made available to us, we will provide Latah County with the most professional, capable, and responsive law enforcement, corrections, and communications services possible.  We will prove a visible presence in our communities, take decisive actions against the production, sale, and usage of illegal drugs, and hold violators of the law accountable.

Membership:  The sheriff is elected every 4 years on even years.

Accomplishments:

v        We now have Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) capabilities.

v        The radio system is nearly completed for interoperability.

v        Our Communications Center is in the process of being upgraded with a new digital phone system.

Goals:  We are working together with Moscow Police Department on a joint facilities project.  It is our hope to have a modern and efficient new facility completed in the next 3 to 4 years.

Needs:  We are looking for volunteers from all the communities in Latah County to become members of the Joint Facilities steering committee.

Latah County Youth Advocacy Council

Mission:  The Latah County Youth Advocacy Council’s mission is to promote and facilitate positive youth development opportunities in Latah County by working together to prevent substance abuse, delinquency and other self defeating behaviors, strengthening families, encourage parental involvement and involving youth in planning participating and evaluating.

History:  This diversely represented countywide council with a focus on providing needs for our youth was created by Latah County Commissioners in 2005.  Since then have applied for and received a Drug Free Communities support grant and hired a prevention coordinator, established community task forces in Kendrick-Juliaetta, Troy, and Potlatch and hosted numerous drug and alcohol prevention/education events throughout Latah County.

Meeting Details:  The second Thursday in the months of October, January, April, and July from 11 A.M. – 2 P.M. at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare conference room (1350 troy Highway) in Moscow.

Membership:  Write a letter to Latah County Commissioners requesting an appointment.  The age range of our membership is 17 – 70 years old.

Election of Officers:  Annually in October.

Accomplishments:

v        Received the Drug Free Communities Support Grant.

v        Two coalition members and our coalition graduated from the Nation Coalition Academy.

v        The development of community task forces in Kendrick-Juliaetta (ACTION), Troy (Youth in Crisis) and Potlatch (Let’s Get It Started).

Goals:  To create a counter advertising campaign to make youth and adults aware of our cultural social norms.

Needs:  Members and organizations to participate in meetings, activites, and events.

Publications:  Traveling display board, newsletter and a website.  The website is a continual work in progress and the newsletter is published bimonthly with a circulation of 250 Latah County partners, individuals, schools and local businesses.  There is no fee to submit information related to our mission statement by the 20th of January, March, May, July, September, and November to our prevention coordinator.

Potlatch Ridge Workers

Meeting Details:  2nd Saturday of each month at 9:00 A.M. for youth 7 through 18 years old.

Pug Marks CSI

is now accepting youth, adult and family membership in Kendrick, Juliaetta, and the surrounding 7 ridges. Pug Marks is an exciting new service club looking for activities to provide youth opportunities for service alongside adults from the community.

Seven Ridges Historical Society

 Meeting Details: 7 P.M. the fourth Thursday of each month.

VFW -- Veterans of Foreign Wars

Mission:  The Veterans of Foreign War’s mission is to serve military veterans and families with veteran information.

History:  The VFW Post 3913 was started in 1944 by mostly WWI veterans.

Meeting Details:  Meet the 2nd Thursday each month at 7:00 P.M. at the VFW Post Building with a requirement of being a veteran of a foreign war.  Members range from 18 to 85 years old.

Officer Elections:  Annually in April.

Accomplishments:

v        Flag Raising and Memorial Services each year at the Veterans Memorial.

v        Provide a meeting location for the community--the Hall can be rented by contacting Hazel Candler at 289-4400.

Goal:  To keep the Post going with new members.

Weight Watchers

Mission:  The Weight Watchers’ mission is to make all members feel cared for, well informed and part of the group.

History:  Weight Watchers started in the 1960’s in a woman’s home.  She found that the group support and sensible eating habits she and her friends developed provided for successful weight loss and weight maintenance.  The organization grew from there.

Meeting Details:  Thursdays at the Kendrick Fire Hall.  Weigh-in starts at 4:30 P.M. with the meeting at 5:00 P.M.
